WHO ARE THE KENTUCKY THOROUGH-BREASTS (KTB)?

KTB Dragon Boat Racing Team is an affiliate of Paddling for Cancer Awareness, a 501C3 Organization. KTB welcomes both breast cancer survivors and supporters who are interested in learning more about and joining the team.

ABOUT

KTB's on-water season runs from April through September, with practice at AJ Jolly Park on Tuesday evening and Saturday morning. The age-range of members is 30-70 and no prior experience is necessary. It is not necessary to be an athlete to participate - but you might just turn into one!

Directions to AJ Jolly are accessible via the Maps widget at the website footer.

The team will provide instruction, a paddle and a required life vest. Comfortable clothing, a water bottle, and sun protection are recommended. Practice is scheduled for 90 minutes and allows for warmup and cool-down. All paddlers are required to sign a waiver, however there is no cost to come and decide if the sport is for you.
